The planning of a safe and reliable pipeline construction and operation involves a large number of tasks which require special know-how. Based on over 30 years of experience in pipeline management and leak detection projects KROHNE offers consultancy and engineering services for the design of detection systems, including the selection of suitable technologies, system evaluation according to API recommendations, and evaluation of the instrumentation, cyber security and field data acquisition options. This allows the project team to achieve the best results that meet the operator requirements, and allows identification of any possible pitfalls before project implementation.

KROHNE’s upcoming Health Care Check program offers customers an extensive check of their system. The program includes API compliance checks, full remote functional tests, stress analysis and uptime analysis and comes with recommendations to optimise the performance of the system.

KROHNE engineers also assist during the certification process in accordance with international standards such as TRFL or API, and set up a leak detection program together with the pipeline operator to fulfill the newest requirements of API 1175 for effective pipeline leak detection.
